Cardinal Francis George has released a video about the necessity of conscience protection - protection that is removed by section 35 of Illinois FOCA.  Thank you Cardinal George!

(While the cardinal is head of the Chicago Archdiocese, he released this video in his office as national President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.)

Thank you for speaking so clearly about what is right in a way any American can understand.

Cardinal George, we met a the celebration of Our Lady of Siluva in September. My cousin, Bradley Alexander was one of the Knights there. Brad has 4 sons and the youngest John Paul was extremely premature. Our family aggressively fought and prayed against the abortion center in Aurora. I spoke infront of the Council.

The conscience issue is at the edge of having the legal freedom to believe in Jesus Christ our Lord. You are so right to exclaim as you have.

Why haven’t the various pastors of the Chicago Diocese asked the parishoners to view this video? I have asked some of me friends and NOT A ONE mentioned that their pstors mentioned it.
