Illinois FOCA supporters are lying about the bill

In a desperate bid to undermine the groundswell of opposition to HB2354, supporters of this pernicious piece of legislation have taken to lying about the bill. It’s no wonder. To plainly spell out the provisions of the bill is to expose its radicalism.
A case in point: Today I heard report of a interesting phone call received by a pro-lifer named Emily. Not only is Emily pro-life—she works at a pregnancy center. So when she received a call—on her cell phone, no less—about HB2354, she was already armed with the truth about the bill.
I spoke to Emily this afternoon, and she told me about the call. The caller, who identified herself as being affiliated with a women’s right group of some kind, told Emily that HB2354 was a bill about “prenatal care, women’s reproductive health and adoption services.”
Wow. Nothing about taxpayers funding tens of thousands of abortion in the midst of a massive state fiscal crisis. Nothing about forcing healthcare workers to cooperate in abortion. Nothing about condom training for our kids. Nothing about keeping parents in the dark when their teenage daughters seek abortions.
Emily, of course, told the caller that she opposes this bill, because it’s not actually about “prenatal care, reproductive health and adoption.”
Emily knew the truth about this bill because this campaign has been all about revealing the truth. The Coalition To Defeat HB2354 is working to educate the public of Illinois about this bill. Our enemies are working to obscure the truth.
And that should tell our legislators everything they need to know about why they should vote against HB2354.

The mistake anti choice proponents always make is trying to hijack the penal code. You can object to abortion and express your opposition to practices which makes it more convenient and affordable. You can even shun or attempt to stigmatize women and their abortion services providers. But when you seek to criminalize reproductive freedom, you have stepped over the line. Reasonable minds can disagree about abortion, yet you want to prosecute and incarcerate people. Not good.

Typical of abortion pushers to cloak the true meaning of what they want in wording that sounds so positive, yet is so evil.
Anyone read 1984 by George Orwell? This is “Newspeak” for sure.

Dan Brandon,
Your argument is a complete strawman. No one here is arguing for the criminalization of abortion. The purpose of this coalition is to fight HB 2354, which goes so far as to grant immunity to abortion doctors in the event of malpractice. I’ll ask you to be reasonable and please stay on topic. Also, please remember that ‘reproductive freedom’ is an invented buzzword, not an inalienable right. Thank you.

I will simply say that the constitution says that all have an “unalienable right to life” and interstingly enough never mentions “reproductive freedom”. Also, note that globalists of every stripe push homosexuality, abortion, and suicide (right to die) in a concerted effort to curb population growth of us “useless feeders”.
